All gay Windjammer Mandalay cruise
April 20, 2008 to April 26, 2008
Put yourself back in another time. A time before the huge ocean liners cruised
the seas. Imagine waking up in the heart of the turquoise waters of the
Caribbean. No engine rumbling beneath you, just the sound of the sails flapping
in the wind. Grab a cup of coffee and watch the sun rise greeting another spectacular day
in what is arguably one of the most beautiful places in the world. Welcome to a
Windjammer cruise! Enjoy the freedom to be yourself. We have chartered the whole
ship, and it is yours to do and be whatever you want. It’s a starry, starry night and you’re on a tall ship in the tropics. What to
do? You can always go ashore and mingle with the locals. If you decide to stay
onboard, take your pick of dancing, chatting at the rail, relaxing with your
preferred beverage on the aft deck. Or, call it a day.

24 Hours in Sydney
By Ed Walsh
After surviving the hilarity of Air New Zealand's fourteen hour inaugural 'Pink
Flight,' hosted by saucy comedienne Kathy Griffin, writer Ed Walsh had just one
day to explore Sydney before heading back to San Francisco. Braving rains, mild
floods and more than a little scaling the heights here are the highs and lows
of Ed's 24 hours in Sydney.

Booming Beach Destinations
This
is the time of year when the winter blues are setting in for
many outside the Sun Belt, which always means big business
for winter beach destinations. It’s usually not hard to spot
those who’ve been sun-starved all winter, as they may be
getting off airplanes in places like Boston, Detroit or
Chicago in shorts when arriving home to February
temperatures in the teens.
